Kawakawa leaves were traditionally used topically for numerous conditions including, bruises, rheumatism, dry - irritated skin and minor cuts and infections. Kawakawa leaves contain volatile oil and two key components of this, Myristicin and Elemicin have been shown to exhibit anti-inflammatory properties.

Aloe Vera Oil is a good emollient and excellent moisturizing agent.

Hemp oil is considered to have anti-inflammatory properties, with its essential fatty acids useful in assisting skin conditions.

Mānuka Honey harbours a number of health properties: antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antifungal. This makes honey effective as both a medicine and a functional food. Research has shown honey can help boost immunity and treat skin infections.
